The old man has finally found Spotify. Of course, I'm not using it to listen to new songs, though. This is a playlist I've made with some of my favorite rock songs that I grew up with during the '90s and '00s. We've got Grunge, Post Grunge, Pop Punk, Emo, Rap Rock, Garage Rock and pretty much everything else you could name. Here's what I've got so far. There's plenty of cheese on here, but I'm way too old to care about the stuff I like not being cool anymore.

You've got quite a lot of decent songs in that playlist, but i'm surprised to see that you have a few Fall Out Boy songs in there. I didn't think you liked Emo music? Also, how can you like "Rockstar"?

Also, how can you like "Rockstar"? Yeah, I'm not a huge Emo guy, but I do like early Fall Out Boy. Sugar, We're Going Down is honestly a top 10 '00s song for me. Stuff like Rockstar is mostly nostalgia for me. I get that it sucks, but stuff like that takes me back to my college years during the '00s, which is something I have a lot of nostalgia for these days. Even the older Nickleback stuff gives me nostalgia for my teen years. I guess I'm getting old. When I used to listen to some of the crap my parents liked when they were growing up, I didn't get how they could possibly like it, but nostalgia has a lot to do with it.
