Oh whoa, I had no idea people actually posted in this thread. Sorry John Titor and SharksFan99 . The answer to the origin of my name is I was really obsessed with Fall Out Boy at the time I joined InThe00s. It's a line from this song: And then when I joined here, I wanted to make sure people recognized me from there, so it just stuck.

Hi @loosebolt Favorite sport, favorite team(s)? Does where you live, Michigan, have a distinct accent? You ever been to the Upper Peninsula? Favorite season? Favorite car? Cool, thanks for asking! Favorite sport is basketball, favorite team (begrudgingly) is the Pistons. It's hard to be a Pistons fan these days, but my family would disown me if I switched to the Celtics (my wife's home team). The Michigan accent is famous! We have the hard "a" in words like apple or Michig ander, we say stuff like 'frigerator and D'troit (it's not Dee-troit, contrary to popular belief), and we have weird phrases and -isms like pop, "Ope!", and "Yeah no, you're fine!" I'm actually a bit of a weird case because while I do say D'troit and I use some of the local phrases and vocabulary, I never got the hard "a" because I'm originally from the East Coast. I have been to the Upper Peninsula (we just call it the U.P.), but not very often. I think the last time I might've been in the U.P. was 2005 or so, and I've never been as far as the northern tip, in the city of Marquette. Most of the U.P. is trees, road, and cabins, so between St. Ignace (the city when you get off the lower-to-upper peninsula bridge) and Marquette, there's not much to see. That's probably why my family hasn't been there in a good long time. Favorite season is spring, especially the April-May portion of it. May is my birthday and that mid-to-late spring weather is just about perfect. Favorite car is a bit difficult as I'm not much of a car guy. But being the huge nerd/environmentalist that I am, I'll go with the Chevy Bolt. I have no idea how it drives, but I am 100% on board with EVs.

Sorry if I have asked you this before, but what's your opinion of Reanimation and Collision Course as albums? Sorry John Titor and SharksFan99 . The answer to the origin of my name is I was really obsessed with Fall Out Boy at the time I joined InThe00s. It's a line from this song: Ah okay, that's interesting. I was always under the impression that it was intended to have a symbolic meaning.

Reanimation is actually a fond favorite of mine, and when I was first introduced to Linkin Park in the fall of 2002, it had just come out. There are actually several tracks - among them 1stp Klosr and H! Vltg3, as well as a few others - which I prefer to their original versions. I'm less favorably inclined towards Collision Course. In addition to just not really being into Jay-Z at the time, I always felt like the mash-ups didn't actually add anything to the songs. I thought the Dirt off Your Shoulder/Lying from You mash-up was okay, but again, I never felt as though it added anything to the song. On the other hand, there is one Numb/Encore/Yesterday performance that will always hold a special place for me, as both a Linkin Park and Beatles fan:

Yeah, I can see what you mean when you say that you're less favourably inclined towards "Collision Course", you can tell that the record labels definitely intended for the album to be a cheap cash grab. Tbh, I've never actually listened to either album in full before.

Definitely check out the latter half of Reanimation. The With You, Papercut, and Runaway remixes are some of the best in Linkin Park’s whole catalogue.
