Ahh, electropop!!! I also miss the neon-fashion trend, and that iPhones were gaining popularity, and when you had an iPhone back then, you'd play games like Angry Birds or Glow Hockey. -Sigh- Good times

Late 2009 and early 2010 was primitive early 2010s culture, there were still some visible late 2000s culture left. It felt predominantly early 2010s by the 2010-2011 school year.

I turned 11 this month. It's funny to see how traces of emo can be found in some of those images. I was actually looking at my Year 7 school photos just at the start of this week and even up to as recently as Early 2012, some of the kids in my year group sported that "emo-swoop", lol.

I remember watching Victorious premiere after the KCAs, and eventually everyone at my catholic mega school were talking about it. It was a pretty good show when I look back at it, but I loved it as a kid.
Looking at back at the music, the electropop/club boom wasn't really for me, but I did like "Tik Tok" by Ke$ha.
The period did have an obvious late 2000s vibe, especially with flip/slider phones still being used by most people, and politics wasn't as hostile as it was now.

I love 2010 so much. Everything was awesome back then. Heh, reminds me of the Lego Movie, which unfortunately came out in 2014, which was less than awesome.
