We are in the final month of the decade and approaching towards the next one. Every year that ends with ‘9’ has a taste of the next decade, specifically the early portion. Is there anything as of now that will define the early 2020s?

Well we can't tell until we can see the difference between late 2010s and early 2020s culture.

I appreciate your enthusiasm, but we can't actually know for sure yet how much of this is going to carry over. Also, you do realize Easyfun is PC music, right?

PC music is still being used in commercials, its likely to spill over to the full year of 2020, as for pop punk more and more music has hints of it we shall see! As for fashion the flared jeans have penetrated 75% of fashion ,fast chains like Zara are already carrying it as well as H&m (and those flares are replacing the skinny jeans, meaning you will be forced to wear flare jeans/bell bottoms) As far as shiny fashion goes Zara and h&m have already carried versions of Tom Ford's stylings, and whatever the runway does fast fashion stores copy. As far as crocs go they are all over instagram. I don't feel like linking all the sources but take my word for it lol More and more houses like Dior and LV are partnering with Streetwear brands like Stussy and Supreme, expect streetwear to apex sometime in the next few years.

If PC music is actually being used in contemporary commercials, they must either have no idea the entire genre is supposed to be ironic or reality has jumped the shark.

PC Music is only now getting full length releases despite blowing through the underground for a few years now. Its sugary ironism will bleed through charting pop sooner or later.
