This is inspired by the 2025 thread that SharksFan99 made. This thread is basically rating the 2020’s in terms of your personal life in how you think it’ll play out. I think it’ll be like this for me: 2020: Decent 2021: Great 2022: Good 2023: Absolutely amazing 2024: Decent 2025: Ok 2026: Decent 2027: Good 2028: Great 2029: Decent Good means it will be a chill year Great means it will be fun year Absolutely amazing means it’ll be one of the best years Decent means it will be average Ok means not the best, but not the worst

I have no idea what the next ten years will bring, so it seems a bit silly. What are you even basing your ratings on?

I have no idea, but I'm hoping better than the 2010s. Fact of the matter is it's hard to say how things will be a year from now let alone a decade.

I'll graduate college in the new decade. I'll finally have some glimpse of freedom and more control of my life, but I also expect a lot of responsively and pressure form y family and from myself. This is the decade that will make or break me so I'm going in optimistic and taking on whatever challenge it throws at me.

I have a bad tendency to jinx myself when it comes to luck so I prefer to abstain myself from this kind of stuff

So do I usually, but I will take part anyway: 2020: Good 2021: Decent 2022: Average 2023: Decent 2024: Good 2025: Good 2026: Decent 2027: Average 2028: Average 2029: Bad For whatever reason, ever since 2012, odd-numbered years always seem to be the better years for me personally. It's bizarre. The strangest thing about it too is that the events which have happened haven't only been minor things; they've been life-changing ones. In 2012, my Nanna passed away and my Uncle was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor three weeks later (thankfully he's still with us), 2014 saw me get really bad acne which eventually resulted in me having to take medication for it, 2016 was when I started to get suicidal thoughts and last year saw my Dad get arrested. I'm hoping next year will buck the trend though. A couple of months ago, my boss mentioned to me that she is speaking with the higher-ups to try and get me a full-time job within the office. Since i'm working for the Government, it would be a secure, well-paying job as well. When I went for an interview for a role within the office about six months ago, the job I was going for would have had a salary of between $68,000 - $73,000 AUD a year. I'm really hoping that I can secure a full-time role within the office early next year. My boss also mentioned to me that she'll try and get me to come into the office during the holiday break, so as much as I don't want to get my hopes up, it does look promising.
