There was no coronavirus in 2001, that was 2003. I think what they ment is like a 9/11 type event that changes history, and what has been happening with this virus is changing the whole game. In this case was not a terrorist attack but rather a covert invisible attack. 9/11 is rather insignificant in the grand scheme of events that occurred in the 2000s when compared to natural disasters genocides, wars, famines, diseases etc. The 2004 Asian Tsunami killed 230,000. 9/11 only killed 3,000. I didn't think Astrology would be so US-centric, given the name and all

I think a year like 2016 where a bunch of terrorist attacks radicalized people's views on politics mirror more so 2001 than this year.
A major health crisis like this one is very different from a terrorist attack. If anything 2000s-wise, 2020 is more similar to 2008 than 2001 since the recession has similarly impacted a lot of people throughout the world, and even that comparison is rather tenuous. The world didn't have to stop with the recession at least...

2008 and 2020 are both “years of the rat.”
Both years saw the bottom fall out of the economy. It’s left to be seen how bad this is going to actually get. I have a feeling after the virus is over it will be years before the economy gets back to “normal.” It’s going to feel a lot like 2009 and 10. I think my own career is finished.
We will fare a lot better if we can get some actual leadership in Washington after November.

Yeah it’s weird coming back to this in 2021 lol. I wanna say the astrologists were pretty much right. 2020 being similar to 2001 and 2008 makes sense when it comes to large scale events and transitions. I remember people were comparing 2020 to 2001 and 2008 while the year was happening

2020-21 have actually had a lot of similarities to 2001-02 in my personal life. 2001-02 were the worst years of my teens, years when everything I hoped for was ruined, and the events of the past two years have knocked my self-confidence and self-image back to where it was when I was at that age. It's absolute hell. But, at least in 2001-02 there was hope.
