It may surprise some of you to hear this, but I’m gonna have to go with Shruggie on this one. Granted I support male circumcision from a religious standpoint, being Jewish and all, but I also don’t remember the event and frankly don’t care that it happened. And really, the alternative is gross. What’s the benefit to HAVING that foreskin, are you planning to bring your preferred gender to the bedroom to show off your smegma collection? I fully expect the debate to continue into the next decade. I think in the long term future it will die out, as religion in general goes out of vogue. I'm also circumcised for religious reasons, but being atheist now I wouldn't circumcise my sons (if I have any). Male circumcision isn't comparable at all to female circumcision however. The latter is a lot worse and that's not a double standard. Oh yeah, you won’t hear any arguments from me about female circumcision. That’s much worse, being compelled on much older girls and in a violent manner.

They're really not comparable at all. In male circumcision you're removing a skin part that folds and can worsen smegma collection. In female circumcision you're removing a whole entire sensitive glans and basically nullify sexual sensitivity. Before going on DOUBLE STANDARDS outrages it might be handy to first make sensible comparisons. It may surprise some of you to hear this, but I’m gonna have to go with Shruggie on this one. I fully expect the debate to continue into the next decade. ? ? ? ? ? I literally don't understand why people always go with the smegma argument when defending circumcision. Honestly, you would have to not bathe for DAYS possibly WEEKS before you start getting smegma on your cock. But also why does there have to be a benefit to being uncircumcised? Can't I just enjoy having my body fully intact?

Wow, this was a truly heartbreaking read. I absolutely sympathize with trans folks & their families who have to deal with the hardships, I absolutely do. The number of oppressive laws in our country that negatively impact trans folks is greatly disturbing. While I don't support HRT for small children & preteens, I fully support their right to identify as any gender & that's a decision nobody else should be making. You'd be surprise how many people on the left think a 3 year old can decide their own gender. If you think otherwise, you're called a transphobic asshole. You would know your own gender when you are around 6 as that is when you would be required to use restrooms that are separate for both boys and girls, depending on the school or classroom as kindergarten classrooms will have an indoor restroom for both genders. Some first grade classrooms do too as at my elementary school, this one first grade classroom did.

I would say there could be a future law that people can no longer drink liquor, and that would include adults.

Alcohol won't get banned again, it brings in too much money for governments and big companies who can lobby said governments.
Then again, how times change!! Who would've thought this time last year that there would come a time when hanging out, outside, in a group of more than 2 could get you fined or arrested?! I haven't been in a group of people for MONTHS AND I'M GOING INSAAAANE!

I have a sneaking suspicion that zoos might be frowned upon. Every time I go, some animals look severely depressed. Especially the apes. They are too similar to us to be locked in cages and looked at. Some gorillas know sign language for god’s sake.

One thing I couldn't help but notice while I was there was how bored many of the animals appeared to be. There were two Sumatran Tigers that paced backwards and forewords near one of the fences for a good twenty minutes or so, and their enclosure wasn't particularly big either. It was pretty sad to see. I can't be too critical of zoos since many of them do a lot of amazing work in raising funds for conservation programs, however I agree that more could be done to improve the quality of life of animals at the zoos. I'm not the biggest fan of zoos, I would much rather see animals in the wild where they deserve to be, but I do believe they serve some sort of purpose.

Maybe nursing homes. Or their current set-up, anyway.
