Wow that looks like fun! By the way, have you ever posted an atmosphere album with some of your own pictures? I have snuck a few of my own in them from time to time, April 2002 what a crazy month full of fun, I remember my Playstation 2 broke and I threw it against the wall in a fit of rage and had to go to Sam Goody to get a new one, Scorpion King came out and was a blast, I remember going to my friends house on a Sunday drunk off my ass watching Malcolm in the Middle (my first time ever drinking) I spent lots of time on the basketball court chilling, not playing B ball but just in that atmosphere lol The winter in Jersey was actually really mild and hardly any snow on the ground at the time. I remember watching the stupid WWF draft at the time and Stone Cold almost beating the Sh*t out of Hulk Hogan lol Wrestling was briefly popular again around this time due to Hulk Hogan's mini comback. That basketball hoop pic is 100% exactly how I experienced this first half of 2002

Late 90s and early 2000s was pretty much alike in terms of lifestyle aside from 9/11.

April 2002 was also the final month of the "Brief" Party Line Revival fad, between this and AOL AIM these were the detestations we flocked 2 at night, after April people kind stopped using the phone as a "neo myspace"
So much Drama and Sh*t talking from school went on in these rooms lol Lots of women in my class met people off these numbers.

Alright, you can't open this atmosphere thread with a photo showing one girl in a Moulin Rouge t-shirt and another with white people dreadlocks and tell me the Y2K era is dead in spring 2002. That shit is like, peak late '90s futurism.
That being said, I agree these photos look fun. It makes me miss the early '00s, though I can't help but remember what a rough time that was for me personally. I was in 6th grade at the time which was not all bad, but my 7th grade school year was going to start later that fall, and that was bad news bears for sure.

The Y2K era had been dead since mid 2001, just because some fashions linger on does not mean it's the same era, There was no teen pop on the radio and any teen pop singers like Britney or Justin Adapted a new Mature style via The Neptunes that was not kid friendly at all, 9/11 and the small recession we were in also put a damper on the economy, ps2,Gamecube and Xbox were all in their prime at this time and changed the way we play gaming, there were also constant scares of Anthrax on the news every week, it was 100% not the same era.

I have a pic of me playing Yu-gi-oh with my friends from spring 2002. I might upload it, but not on this board (since it's public). I miss those days!
