Honestly, not really, because I wouldn't have y'all to chat to. Plus, I'd rather watch internet television like Netflix and Disney Plus than to pay hundreds of dollars on cable each month. you can get cable tv for 25 dollars on almost any device www.sling.com/Dish owns them and it is pre paid like Netflix is, no contracts There is also Hulu Live and Youtube TV, tons of alternatives out there I know, but you do need the Internet for all of those services, so yeah, they further prove my point that I want to live with the Internet.

But I am talking about the web. The internet has been around for twenty years before the web was invented, and people have been using the internet at home before the web was invented.

I am fully willing to admit that I would probably find it very difficult to live without the Internet. However, that doesn't mean I can't ultimately aspire to it.

I would not want to live without it right now, no. Or any time before like 2005. I can't remember not having internet (or at least not after I could read, so it at least it served some purpose for me). But tbh, if I got in a time machine and went back to say, the 90's (or a bit before), I'm not sure how much I would miss it. I'd miss not being able to get information instantaneously, or talk to people like on here. Sometimes I feel like the type of introverted person who thrives with internet. Yet I wonder if things were different in the past. Did people go out looking to meet new people, trying to strike up conversations? Were there more places to go? Did that extra bit of effort in everything result in greater fulfillment? I don't mean to romanticize the past, as there are plenty of reasons to enjoy our recent advancements. And there's a lot I'd hate to lose. Meanwhile I do think we lost something else when we gained internet, something that I wouldn't mind experiencing outside of early childhood.
