I think it's safe to say now we're all in the new decade. Goodbye forever 2010s - we had a love/hate relationship and I'll probably end up missing you. But go to your rest.

How has everyone spent the first day of the 2020s? I caught up with two of my friends for lunch and we just wondered around our local shopping centre for a while this afternoon. Pretty good day overall.

You have a point. Do you think 2020 will be a continuation of 2019 or will it be different and fresh as 2020 goes by? For some reason I have a feeling 2020 will be remembered like 2016 is right now. I feel like you either really really loved 2016 or you really really hated it and there's no in between. There's gonna be people that are nostalgic for summer 2020 like people are now for summer 2016. You're also going to have another half of people constantly bash on it. I feel like that's how 2020 will be remembered in the future. I could be wrong though. Reading this from a current perspective, your post turned out to be scarily accurate!

Looking how quickly people on here were nostalgic for 2016, I have no doubt that people will be nostalgic for 2020 too somehow. Probably kids are having a blast right now without really getting what's going on.

Ah remember when we were so excited for the new decade? Can we go back to the 2010s now?

Nearly a third of this year is over, and I can already say its so far the worst year of my life. I have so many things to worry about right now aside from this pandemic, though mainly, it is the pandemic that is causing those problems. At least when I go outside, I can get my mind off of those things, but being stuck at home just makes it worse. It has been several weeks since I last felt like waking up in the mornings, and it is not because of being tired or lazy. It is cause I am afraid to face the problems that the new day will hit me with. What did I do to deserve this?
