Give us the 00’s esque pop Ok. This artist has been doing some great and original 2000s-inspired pop:

Yeah, wow, that could've come out some time in the 2000-2003 time warp.

Another song I discovered through my favourite radio station! This only came out a month ago, but it legitimately sounds like something from 2008. The emo-esque lyrics and vocals probably don't help.

Why is "WAP" such a big deal? There's absolutely nothing original about it. It's such an unpleasant-sounding song, and not even for the vulgarity of its lyrics but just its atrocious beat and Cardi's usual stilted flow.

I guess an avalanche of hyper-sexual euphemisms are still a shocker in 2020 for some reason. Even though it's nothing new for trap, hip hop or even female hip hop since Lil' Kim already did similar stuff in the 90s.

Yes I get that the song is nothing special, but some of you guys act like this song is groundbreaking because it's the first song to ever talked about sex? Telso is right, Rap especially female rap since the days of Lil Kim and Foxy Brown(heck, we can go back even further to Salt & Pepa era) has always talked about sex in their songs. Popular Music for the most part has been talking about sex since the dawn of Rock N Roll.

This is another one of those relaxed and upbeat trap songs we've been getting recently.

www.aria.com.au/charts/singles-chart"My ex's best friend" is now at #22 on the ARIA Chart, that's quite an achievement for a pop-punk song. Also, this has re-entered onto the UK Charts at #51.

I'm not a huge fan of Shawn Mendes but I liked this one quite a bit. Plus he looks really handsome in it I must say

My problem is that it sounds so generic, nothing really special about it. Honestly, I don't really get the hype around it either.
