Somehow two forgotten songs from the depths of the 2010s indie underground were unearthed by TikTok and are simultaneously gaining traction right now.
I quite like both songs a lot, much better than the dull "Heat Waves".

Wow, Madonna. Way to botch your late 90s classic with an uninspired trap remix that sounds dated by now. This type of dark trap hasn't been popular since 2019?
It's been more than a decade now that she desperately tries to fit in but stumbles on her feet entirely.
(Also she's 63 but still tries to appear 23 :/)

I do follow rap's releases occasionally via the charts but I'm usually not a fan of what ends up at the top of the streaming charts. I did like King Von's posthumous songs quite a bit though

What do you guys think of this cover of Never Let You Go? IMO it's kind of annoying, I definitely prefer the original (which is one of my favorite songs)
Also, did you know that a cover of the Goo Goo Dolls song "Iris" by Phoebe Bridgers actually hit #57 on the Billboard Hot 100? The cover was performed because Trump lost the 2020 election. Apparently it's sales were so high because the song was only available for sale on her Bandcamp for one day! If you try to find the song on YouTube it doesn't even seem to have a single video, the only one I found was like a 20 second snippet lmao

Somehow I forgot to post about this:
Not good, the song is generic, the beat is token and the lyrics are extremely predictable. The video is strange in a very unappealing way. That is one big failure of a comeback.
Not the most inspired use of the "Genius of Love" sample, but the song is quite good and I like the rapper. She has some Doja Cat influences in her which I appreciate. I had the hook in my head all day yesterday.
