This is really lifeless and the production is almost nonexistent. Can Tik Tok just stop hyping up stuff just based on a gimmicky sound effect?

I hope this smashes throughout the summer. It reached at #8 in the Hot 100.

This song is awful, the tune itself is like something you'd hear off some kids show like "Thomas the Tank Engine" or something. I had it stuck in my head earlier today.

Not to mention this was a desperate attempt from Jason Derulo to cash in on a Tik Tok trend (the main beat is taken from a song that was used for a challenge). The worst part is that it worked with a #1 in the UK, putting Jason right back into relevancy .

I was hanging out with my family on the Fourth of July when this song came on. My dad actually knew the lyrics to this LOL. I wouldn’t mind if trap sounded more like this. I like this song.

So, Juice Wrld is having an album bomb on Spotify and Apple Music. The song with the most streams is always the opening track but this song is second highest and seems to be a highlight of the album

Ugh, can Kygo stop just being so devoid of originality? This is practically the exact same as his "Higher Love", expect this time he's butchering an 80s classic rather than an obscure cover from a late artist.
I'm starting to miss his mid-2010s tropical house stuff.

2020 just gets worse and worse, doesn't it? We're almost six months in and things have not improved on the music front at all, this year is almost as bad as 2016 (if not, worse) in terms of what is popular on the charts. Probably the only two songs within the Top-40 that I genuinely consider good are Post Malone's "Circles" and "Adore You" by Harry Styles, and they're both carryovers from 2019. Dua Lipa's and The Weeknd's songs aren't bad, but they're not enough to save what is otherwise an absolute stinker of a year in music. I could easily make a top 10 of my favorite songs by this time in 2018 while I can literally count the amount of good 2020 songs on one hand. It really doesn't help that most artists are forced to stay at home and not release anything while jerks like 6ix9ine take advantage of the situation to unleash their cancerous mediocrity upon us. I cannot even count the good songs of 2020 because there aren't any. I literally cannot think of a single good song from this year.

Taylor Swift is gonna release a 100% folk album coming out tomorrow. And it will suck just like pretty much all of her other songs.

She does have plenty of songs that I like such as Cruel Summer, Clean, State Of Grace, Out Of The Woods, Begin Again, All Too Well, Back To December, Wildest Dreams, Style, Fearless, and Safe and Sound. You probably listened to a few songs of her such as Shake It Off and Look What You Made Me Do.

This is actually pretty good. This lower register fits her voice much better. A vast improvement over the ridiculous "Look What You Made Me Do" and the cringy "Me!" in any case.

I haven't listened to her new song yet, but i'm honestly not surprised that Taylor Swift has decided to for a new sound with this album. She seems to have gained more creative control since the release of her album last year. Interesting choice to go for a folk-inspired sound though. Hopefully it will perform well on the charts.
