Someone mentioned the movie on inthe00s, and this was actually the only Lindsay Lohan movie I cared about (sorry Mean Girls fans). I must have watched this a thousand times! The early 2000s pop punk soundtrack could have only come out of that era. I like how in this scene she puts 5 different devices into her purse! I think it was a pager, cellphone, and a scheduler. And then the peak of that movie when she has to play at the auditions. I still remember all the lyrics Also we should all take adulting advice from Lee Ann Curtis in this scene

Lol this movie screams early 2000s. I watched it over and over again when I was a kid . In fact, I watched it again only about a month ago when I saw it on Disney plus lol.

I've watched parts of the movie before, however I've never actually seen it in full. I didn't mind it. It's definitely an iconic film of the early 2000s though! That "Take Me Away" song is actually a cover of a song by an Australian all-girl alternative-rock band, which came out just two years before the film. Bit of random trivia.

Yess this was one of my earlier DVDs and it has fourth grade sick day written all over it. I've watched every version of Freaky Friday that I'm aware of and I think it's the best. Last year's DCOM version was no question the worst.

Man, I remember when the ads for this movie were EVERYWHERE!
“I look like the Crypt Keeper!”

Though I have to admit that High School Musical is a guilty pleasure of mine.

I thought the most recent Descendants movie was the best. They are cheesy but I could also see my 6-10yo self loving them. It seems like now there’s only a few DCOMs a year which is kinda sad. Funny how back in the day when they were cranking them out, the writing was better.
