I have had a few people in Maine and Mass ask me for Sassafrass or heroin , depends on what time of night it is lol I really like Maine like the atmosphere, but there are some parts of it that creep me out lol

I don't feel like much has changed since they legalized weed but Mass perpetually smells like it everywhere now.

There's a huge ice epidemic here in Australia, especially in regional areas.

Opioid epidemic is acute in Canada. It's more of a problem in the West (British Columbia, Alberta) than here in Ontario though.

There's a huge ice epidemic here in Australia, especially in regional areas. what kind of observations do u see out there My Dad lived right across the road from a family who took crystal meth only a couple of years ago. The couple would have been in their late 20s/early 30s and they had two daughters who were around 4/5 years old, but the mother was an alcoholic and the father had a crystal meth addiction. Both of them were unemployed. Some of the things that went on there were horrific. The father was physically abusive to his wife and would punch holes into the walls, they would constantly yell at each other at the top of their lungs. There was always the risk that they could have come across the road to my Dad's house and potentially smash his car. The police were called to the house quite a few times, their last visit actually resulted in the father being sent to jail for several years and the mother moving in with her parents (along with the two kids). It was awful. You don't see the signs of crystal meth/ice when you visit the towns themselves. It's more something that bubbles underneath the surface, if that makes sense. The town that my Dad lived in only had about 800 people and it's only 20 minutes away from Nowra (which is a sizable town), so it's not as if there's no job prospects or opportunities there. I would hate to think how bad the ice epidemic must be in towns which are remote.

Crystal meth was pretty big in the Oakland area in the ‘80s.
