I see emo culture popping, but when did it really start? Fall of 2004, 2003 was a transitional year

The main two things I recall about November 2003 is that this is when I got Jak II for the PlayStation 2, and when I purchased Elephant by The White Stripes on CD.

I just remember seeing The Matrix Revolutions with a friend. The rest of fall 2003 is rather hazy. Summer 2003 - roughly May to August of that year - was kind of the highlight of my young life, and it's the nostalgia I'm constantly drawn to as an adult.

I find Fall 2003 hazy as well lol I don't know why because I remember 2002 and 2004 clear as day I forgot Matrix 2 lol
