Hi There! Nice place you have here!  My name is Jade, and I'm located at Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. Haven't been on any boards for a long time, but I met @sharksfan99 many moons ago on another board, and have just now been browsing there for the first time in a few years .. and came across a post he had made there. Sweet as! I note that he himself hadn't been on that particular board for a bit, and was a lil disappointed, cause while we didn't know each other for very long, it was easy to see he was a quality person, and he was one of the reasons I rejoined that other place.. just in time for the 2020 Season of the NRL  Luckily though, he had a link to here in his sig, so that's how I found my way here! Thanks to all for having me here, and am really looking forward to getting to know you all.

Hi Jade, wow, it's a pleasant surprise to hear from you again! Welcome to Popedia. Aww, thank you for your really nice comments. I always enjoyed talking to you from the few interactions we did have on there, especially because of how you were one of the only other people on Funjoint who actually follows proper footy (not aerial ping-pong), lol.  Yeah, I made the decision a few months ago to stop going on Funjoint and tbh, there is a reason for it. It was nothing major and I don't hold any ill feelings towards Paul or anyone else on FJ. I can send you a PM about it if you're interested in knowing more. Speaking of the footy, we run tipping competitions here on Popedia each year as well. We haven't had one based on the NRL because there isn't too many of us who are into it (I think i'm the only one actually ), but since you've now joined and if you are interested in the idea, we could always do one for the 2020 NRL season.  Anyway, I hope your enjoy your time here! If you ever have any questions about the forum or you are unsure of anything, please feel free to send me or one of our team of moderators a message at anytime.

And sure .. drop me a PM if you like I've been pretty good, thanks for asking! The past 6-12 months or so have had their ups and downs if i'm being honest, but things are gradually getting better. How have you been? It definitely hurt at the time, but now that we've got Xerri, Ramien and Ronaldo in our team, it doesn't really worry me that he's gone. You go for the Cowboys don't you? Sorry but not sorry, but I hope Val chokes for your team and performs terribly.

TBH .. had a pretty bad year, with my Bro, who I nursed for the last decade, passing away on his birthday in August. Tough going, when I walked into his room, to find that he had passed. Finally had a dream come true though, in moving from Brisbane down to Surfers Paradise. My new place is just 30 seconds walk to the beach!

That's okay, I wouldn't want to ever go back to rotten cane toad territory, lol. Plus, you guys have Pauline Hanson and Clive Palmer.   Mibblez is from Texas, so he more than likely wouldn't understand what we're talking about, lol. It's a rugby league match between NSW and QLD that is held every year. Don't believe Mystique, we've always been the better state.

Hmm, I don't know, having ScoMo and Buzz as fans doesn't compare to having Matt Lodge playing for your team. We don't have criminals playing for us. Oh okay. I'm really sorry to hear that. I couldn't even begin to imagine how awful that must have been for you and your family. That's good, congrats! You're lucky that you're able to live so close to the beach. I'm from Wollongong, however the suburb I live in is at least 10-15 minutes away from the coast.

Maybe they had their hands like that because all of their fingers were sore and needed stretching. To be honest, it was better when Darren Lockyer was playing, because it meant that we didn't have to hear him speak as often.

That's pretty cool that you don't really like the Bronx .. it'll make us beating your guys all the more sweeter in 2020. Sorry .. there will be no swapping of the Fifitas .. David's Mum is a crazy Bronx supporter, and as David has stated .. he does as his Mum says. But don't be too despondent, David is a Blue.  The Matt Lodge thing. Too appalling to label it a mistake. He did some time at Rikers, has paid his victims millions of $$'s and hasn't even looked like reoffending. He has done thousands of hours of community service, and has abstained from partaking in any alcohol over the last 5 years or so. He has shown genuine remorse ever since he committed his criminal acts .. but aye, every time I see him, despite his rehabilitation ... my first thoughts always go out to his victims. As for the Sharks & criminal behaviour .. forgetting the widespread peptide scandal the Sharks were involved in? And Andrew Fifita being warned by NSW Police .. to stop consorting with known criminal members of an O.L.M.G? lol. Anyways .. so good to be here, chatting with another passionate league supporter XD
