I know this subjective, but given how we are all of different ages, i'm interested to see what the poll results would be for this topic. Up until only recently, there was a nostalgia wave on online communities for the Early 2000s and it was by far the era which received the most appraisal. However, I feel as though things are slowly changing now with people born in the middle of the decade joining in on these discussions and Late 2000s nostalgia gaining more steam.
If you were to say which era you think would have been the best to have been a kid of, based on the trends that were popular during each era and/or your own personal recollections of it, which era would you pick?

Being an tween in the early 2000s was pretty good. I tend to be a little more biased with what I grew up with. But somebody 10 years younger than me may like the late 2000s, which is fine. I’m not going to put people down with what they grew with, or not call them “Not serious 2000s kids” like the person who posted this about 90s kids this back in 2011...

I've personally picked the Early 2000s. Even though I only have solid memories of 2003, I am old enough to at least be able to get an idea of what it would have been like to experience them as a kid. I think the Early 2000s would have been an excellent time to have grown up in. It was a very kid-friendly era, especially when you had the likes of pop-punk bands and bubblegum-pop groups such as Blink-182, S Club 7 and Sum 41 making it onto the charts. Though I am bias in saying this, it was also a good time for kids show/movies as well; Monsters Inc., Finding Nemo and Ice Age are all classics. The Early 2000s were very much a optimistic, upbeat time for pop culture in general. Great time to have been a kid!
