While i was staying at the Gold Coast, (while 'schoolies' was on) while trying to find my new place, i stayed at the Mantra Crown Towers. I was up on the 26th floor, but down on the 11th floor they had this area that you could view the scenery from the other side of the building from what I was on. Not sure why anyone would do this .. but does it look like fun to you?  You probably can't hear it very well .. but the people were SCREAMING! lol. I'm pretty sure the ride is called 'The Slingshot'.

No way in hell, lol. I hated just going on the Yosemite Sam Railroad at Movie World.

That "Sling Shot" ride is still up on the Gold Coast? I remember The NRL Footy Show boys riding it (and the nearby "Vomitron" ride) as part of a "Dare Devil Dudes" segment back in 2004!
Of course I'd never go on it. Rides aren't really my thing.

Nah. I can't go on any rides in general because of my motion sickness...and my anxiety disorder.

That "Sling Shot" ride is still up on the Gold Coast? I remember The NRL Footy Show boys riding it (and the nearby "Vomitron" ride) as part of a "Dare Devil Dudes" segment back in 2004! Of course I'd never go on it. Rides aren't really my thing. @sydneycitytv Haha yeah, i remember watching poor Fatty lose his lunch on that episode lol. I think The Chief didn't fare to well either?  The Vomitron though, is long gone, i think. (unless i have the names mixed up?) Do you follow the NRL? Hahaha aye .. found the video .. it was The Chief & Fatty lol @zampakid .. I'm with you. Almost had to take an anti-anxiety tablet just watching them. lol I was watching them for an hour or so, and i noticed that the girls that went on it handled it .. it was mostly the guys who did majority of the screaming lol.

The Vomitron though, is long gone, i think. (unless i have the names mixed up?) Interesting to hear. The Vomitron was close to Imperial Surf...no idea whether that hotel is still there either TBH. Not really a massive follower, although I do know enough about it (such as the latest scores) to have it as a conversation point with the many people I know who are fans of the game.

I wouldn't mind. I think I went on something similar although it was smaller. I still want to go skydiving, and this seems 1/1000th scary as that
