In my gym class, it is common for every boy to wear that kind of clothes, even girls can reach their limit just slightly before being dress coded if you know what I mean...

Basically what happened was that girls were being picked apart over their clothes (shorts and bra/spaghetti straps primarily), so the issue was raised that some boys were wearing tank tops with the armpits slit so low you could see their nipples and/or waist. Then they told boys not to wear tanks at all, though obviously not all were that revealing, and mostly like the ones in the photo. Girls were still allowed to wear thick tanks, therefore reversing the gender issue. At a school without air conditioning. #mess

I used to not mind tank tops but started to dislike them because a work colleague I loathe intensely likes wearing them.
