Ew. What a seemingly poorly thought out comeback. People had finally started to get past the idea that she's only pure kitsch as an artist and then she releases this.......

I don't know why, but I'm really not feeling this one. Maybe it's because she's trying too hard to emulate her past electropop phase, but the execution is just shoddy.

The music video reminds me of "You need to calm down" by Taylor Swift. I think it's a pretty disappointing release by her standards, she has the talent to be releasing material of much higher quality. This song pretty much dashes any hopes of her ever making a comeback to the Top-40.

I looked at them only yesterday and "Stupid Love" wasn't even in the Top-40.

It's not terrible in my opinion but it's not great either. Sounds like something that could have been on ARTPOP.

I've been hearing this song quite a lot on the radio over the past few days. Tbh, "Stupid Love" has really grown on me. I still wouldn't consider it to be among her best releases, but I do think it's a decent track in it's own right, even if it does sound like something straight out of c. 2011/12.
