I'd have to go with 1997, it's a great balance between Post-Grunge, Teen Pop, and Ballads! I wish I could experience that year so badly

1996 has my favourite albums, movies, music and TV shows/cartoons. I don't remember the year but I did catch up on it the following years.
It was a weaker year in video games though.

It was a weaker year in video games though. 1996 is also a solid year as well I can't hate on it, maybe my second fav 90s year - The Hype of Nintendo 64 - Peak of ABC TGIF - Debut of Sabrina - Last year of PRIME Simpsons - WCW NITRO - Debut of Stone Cold Steve Austin - That Summer was wild

1994, it was a great year for music, and was the tail end of the 16-bit era when 2D gaming hit its artistic peak, before the gaming industry started over with 3D. Plus it was the year Jim Carrey was at his prim, with Ace Ventura, Mask, and Dumb & Dumber

Tough one. I actually like all of the Mid '90s years equally if i'm being honest, however I would have to give the slight edge to 1994. As Captain mentioned, it was a great time for music overall, and it was the year classic albums such as Nirvana's MTV Unplugged, Pearl Jam's Vitalogy, Green Day's Dookie and Oasis' Definitely Maybe were released. Some of my all-time favourite '90s songs were released in 1994. "The Simpsons" was at it's peak, while "Beavis & Butthead" and "Seinfeld" (two other '90s shows I like) were in production as well. Forrest Gump and Lion King are excellent movies.

1999. Clean atmosphere and It was right before the next millennium, the 2000s my favorite era. But I do really like 1997.

I chose 1999. Yeah I wasn't born yet but from what I've heard, that year was simply amazing and the peak of everything in pop culture.

I'll go with 1990 purely because of the cheesiness of the early 90's.
