The main thing I recall about October 2004 is Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and the huge hype for that game. My cousin and I waiting in line to get that game and I played it if for like 50 hours over the course of a week. I also recall watching the debates between George W. Bush and John Kerry leading up to the presidential election. I also noticed more guys around my age getting their own mobile phones around this time. This was the early part of my senior year of high school. Amazing that it's been over 15 years ago. don't forget Halo 2 mania! I remember it started snowing like hell that school year, I started dating someone from the town next to me we went to see TAXI, ugh that movie sucked lol Atmosphere that month of 10/10 I remember the SNL mishap with Ashlee Simpson that October that ruined her career. School was vibrant as hell that year. This was the school year everyone was obsessed with Knits, Myspace slowly started getting chatter, no one really knew what it was going to be until a month later. Site note: now that I am remember this more, someone in my class would print fake movie tickets online and use them at the cinema and it worked! I saw Resident Evil 2 this way and could not believe we got away with it.

I'm pretty certain October was the month my Mum went on a holiday to Bali with her friends and I stayed over at my Nan and Grandad's house for four nights. It's pretty memorable for me as I can distinctively remember me not wanting my Mum to go there due to the bombing attack which occurred just two years earlier. I was really worried about her going. However, when she came back, she brought home this huge pile of 20-30 pirated PS2 games, so it was a good result in the end.  were they on those burn discs Yep. Even though, half of the discs didn't actually work if I remember correctly, because Indonesia is in a different DVD region to Australia.

I enjoyed the 2nd half of 2004 or late 2004 when I was a 6 year old1st grader with no worries. I think this is the month my class went on a pumpkin patch field trip. Fall 2004 was the best part of 2004

Hey John Titor, Aren’t u gonna do an atmosphere thread 4 early-mid 2004? The only ones I think we’ve seen so far are from late 2004. I often skipped them because I felt Late 2004 was far superior tbh, but it is something I will do if there is a major demand for it.
