Experts are predicting June/July things to return to normal, do you think people are going to stay in because of habbit or do you think we will have a "lit" Summer like 2005 where everyone and their dog came out of the house due to being restless. ?

There probably won't be international travel going on, it's going to be weird. My parents were planning a trip to Turkey but of course it's off the table now. We're probably going to head west to the Rockies instead but I'm not sure if even something like that will be allowed/advised. And the Tokyo Olympics have been postponed too

I would not recommend "returning to normal" in the summer. We have no idea how resilient the disease actually is, whether immunity is long-term or seasonal, etc. We could end up with another resurgence of the disease as early as September, same as with the Spanish Flu that unexpectedly kills thousands.

As Adam Levine once said, this summer's gonna hurt like a motherf**ker. But in all seriousness, the summer should bring an end to this pandemic because I was told that warm weather (like 80 degrees F or higher) kills the virus, although this might not be true. No one knows when this crap will end but we can only hope it ends as soon as possible.

I really don't see things returning to normal until the middle of next year, at the earliest. Things are likely going to get worse in the southern hemisphere as we start to head into the cooler months. Expecting all of this to blow over in just one or two months is simply being unrealistic.

I think itll slowly die down by around summer hopefully, I give it till next year for sure for a vaccine to come and more people not getting it and getting cier the virus.
It’ll be a mixture, you’ll get people who are going to be fairly cautious at first which is understandable but once more clubs and bars and stuff is open whne the world is back to more normal around this summer then many will defiantly do more activities and some parties will be thrown. .
I know if my birthday is during quarantine still then I’m going to celebrate e late 21 birthday at a beach cause after staying in this house for so long I need a tan :/

Brazil, South Africa and Australia have outbreaks and they're just getting out of summer. Malaysia is on the equator and also went on lockdown.

Apparently, you can zap the virus with a UV lamp in a lab environment, that's why some countries are using UV lamps to disinfect their buses. But in the real world, the sun's rays don't have the intensity and duration to kill the virus. I don't have a scientific background. I read it on the WHO website... Link: COVID-19 virus can be transmitted in areas with hot and humid climates

I believe UV works on all bacteria and viruses. It's the concept behind some devices like PhoneSoap which uses UV to disinfect your phone. I've been thinking of getting one but their price shot up by a lot due to the recent events. Edit: lol I can't believe people are putting their hands under UV lamps. You killed the germs on your hands but you gave yourself cancer, congratulations Stick to using tried and trusted soap fellas.

It is going to be May in three days, and back in March 15, people thought this would blow over in the beginning of April, then on the last week of March, they expected it to blowover in the first week of May, and now before May itself, they lost hope for it to blowover at all this spring. Heat should kill the virus.

This didn't age well. The second wave of the virus spread during this time because people who have the virus are like "Oh shit, I got coronavirus, what do I do now? Oh, I know, I'm gonna go to parties and make things worse! I'm probably just sick because CoRoNaViRuS iS FaKe"

If you all think this summer was bad, the fall with the actual flu regaining strength will probably be 10x worse. Even CDC Director Robert Redfield said that we might have "the worst fall in modern medical history" if people are loose with the virus.
