I'm curious to know what exactly was the appeal of the Genesis? I love the Sonic trilogy, but it seems to me like there weren't very many other interesting games on it. You were telling us how wrong we were for disliking the early 90s and you ask a question like THIS? We still play Street Fighter whenever I go to my buddy's. was that for smart boi

Overall, the 2000s were better than the 90s for music.

Actually, I disagree. Rock was still dominant and very memorable from 1990-1992, and there were still many influences of the 80s (the best decade ever) in movies and TV. The mid-late 90s (1995-1997) in my opinion are pretty forgettable, especially for music.

There was much negative attitude going on in the mid 90s by teens, I was a kid but I remember teenagers having this terrible attitude. The attitude was comparable to someone who hates their job and is working.

The 90s would definitely be better than 2020 in any country, though of course I would not say the 90s were completely sunshine and rainbows. The 90s had some bad moments such as the 1993 bombing in addition to Columbine in 1999 along with the deaths of Biggie and Tupac and the 1996 Atlanta bombing scare. However, if you want to watch a show that portrayed the 90s as a sunshine and rainbow world, watch Fresh off the Boat, though that only includes 1995-1999. Most of the Early 90s (1990-April 1993) would be more like the 80s, with 1992 onwards being more like the 90s. 1999 though was an interesting year for me. I did not follow pop culture or anything, but in terms of my life, it was interesting. 2000 and 2001, bleh. 2002 got interesting for me again.

True. I mean some of the cars in the show look like they were from the 2000s. In fact, Eddie, emery, and evan act more like 2010s kids than 90s kids. Just give them a smartphone and laptop, and boom, you cant even tell the difference between Asian american kids today and them, but you can see the huge difference between them and Asian American kids twenty years ago. I could see that was not how Asian American kids acted ten years ago.

lol Im just joking. But also I thought you were born in 89? How could you remember 90,91, & 92? I remember Beetle Juice toys still being in stores (despite the movie being from 88) I remember seeing Batman Returns ads on tv, so that had to been about 1992 I also remember playing Sonic 2 when it first arrived at a Circuit City, 92 ish I remember seeing Terminator 2 ads on tv, circa 1991 I also remember when The Simpsons aired on Thursdays and I remember the commercial on Fox (during the credits) saying they were moving back to Sundays I remember getting a 92 era Barbie Van as well I remember getting Ninja Turtles toys in 1991, I also remember ALF used to come on after TMNT on syndication Just some examples of 91/92 that are super vivid, I can remember the most obscure stuff I thought you were born in 1987, not 1989.

I never actually stated what year I was born in but it was the late 80s
