My 14th birthday! This is when I started feeling like a real teenager. I got a Wii with Twilight Princess, blew me away. Also had a huge crush on my Scottish Biology teacher. He pronounced book like booooook. Was a really cold Winter I remember I moved to Toronto in 2004 which is warmer than the rest of Ontario thanks to the lake, so any winter from 2004-2011 was easy mode for me.

Don't know what made me think of this, but this video is a Nickelodeon recording from February 2007 that I have on a VHS tape of "Ned's Declassified". The Veronicas, Jonas Brothers, Justin Timberlake; everything about this ident screams 2007.  I have more Nickelodeon content from 2006 and 2007 if people are interested in seeing more.

Hard 2 believe 2007 borns will be entering high school this year. I entered high school almost 9 years ago. 2007 looks very core 2000s. These pics have a slight mid 2000s vibe, even if the culture already leaned late 2000s by November 2006. yeah it took awhile to shake it off

Hard 2 believe 2007 borns will be entering high school this year. I entered high school almost 9 years ago. 2007 looks very core 2000s. These pics have a slight mid 2000s vibe, even if the culture already leaned late 2000s by November 2006. Most of 2007 was still mid 2000s just a modified version which is why it leaned late. Late 2007-2008 was the more official late 2000s but still core 2000s

Absolutely none of these pictures give me any 2010’s vibes which further backs up the fact 2007-2013 shouldn’t be lumped together in my opinion, yet so many people think the Late 00’s & Early 2010’s were the same. It bothers me more than it should, but I find it so annoying.

I still consider 2007 partially Mid 00’s. Absolutely none of these pictures give me any 2010’s vibes which further backs up the fact 2007-2013 shouldn’t be lumped together in my opinion, yet so many people think the Late 00’s & Early 2010’s were the same. It bothers me more than it should, but I find it so annoying. I also consider 2007 slightly mid 2000s. 2007 had a similar vibe 2 2004-2006. Late 2006-2007 was an updated core/mid 2000s. 2006-2008 r confusing years cuz 2008 also had core/mid 2000s influences. Core/Mid 2000s shows went strong thru most of 2007, despite Kim Possible & That’s So Raven, etc ending. I believe late 2007 is when it felt officially late 2000s cuz late 2000s shows like iCarly, Wizards of Wavery Place, etc began 2 air. Obama’s campaign was in full swing. The 1st iPhone dropped on June 29, 2007. I’m iffy about late 2007 cuz the Gr8 Recession begin in December 2007, which was a huge part of the late 2000s. I think 4 most of 2007, people were optimistic about the economy until the Gr8 Recession fear got real that fall. Shades of the Gr8 recession appeared in 2006 with the housing bubble burst, but I doubt people were freaking out. IMO 2007 isn’t the peak of late 2000s culture like 2008. 2008 was late 2000s thick & thin. 2007 had lingering core/mid 2000s culture/influences/vibes in music, fashion, movies, TV, etc. I mistake a lot of 2007 pop culture 4 mid 2000s. Late 2006-2007 was when minuscule earliest 2010s influences were spotted mainly in TV, gaming, maybe fashion & maybe music. I agree with u that 2007 doesn’t look 2010s. I don’t know y people group 2007-2013 together when 2007 & 2013 have next 2 nothing in common. 2007 was the last core 2000s year. 2013 was the 1st core 2010s year. Choice commercial breaks for this month: I was long done with Kids WB at this point, but I think some of you who were still watching then will appreciate these.
At 31:14 you see a PSA made in the early 90s still running in 2007!!

There were a lot more solid new late 2000s introductions and changes in a mid 2000s world between late 06 to mid 07. an interesting time
