Yuck I remember around this time there was a record breaking heatwave here in the northwest. We spent 3 or 4 days in the low 100's.

Yuck I remember around this time there was a record breaking heatwave here in the northwest. We spent 3 or 4 days in the low 100's.  up in Jersey it was about the same, When I think of 2009 esp the summer portion depicited here, its mainly hot hot hot suburban atmosphere, I remember going into blockbuster once and I was soaked in sweat.

Pretty much one of my earliest memories from 2009. My family and I lived in Dubai in an apartment, with my private school beside us. I was 5 years old at the time, I remember watching Suite Life On Deck and Phineas and Ferb with my sisters, or we'd play Club Penguin on our computers. We also go outside shopping in Dubai Mall or Dubai Festival City, and it never gets old! Whenever we drive in our 2003 Toyota Corolla, we'd jam to hits like Poker Face, Bad Romance, Boom Boom Pow, and lots more! It was simply a fun time for me.

My childhood! So glad to see more appreciation for the late 2000s! not my childhood but coming around to the late 2000s esp 2009, I just think it took awhile for me to appreciate it (esp that summer)
