It would be a toss-up between the '60s and the '90s if I had to pick. Both decades were great decades for animation, however I would probably lean more towards the '90s as I particularly like many of the television series of the time (e.g classic-era Simpsons, "Beavis & Butthead") and the beginning of the decade saw a revival of adult-orientated animation. I can definitely see why you enjoy the 1930s though. The decade isn't really my cup-of-tea so to speak as many of the cartoons from that period were still quite 'old-timey' in their use of racial stereotypes and depiction of humour. However, I can still appreciate them for how significant they were for animation as a whole. I too am a fan of classic-era Simpsons. Do you have a favourite season, and do you tend to agree with pop historians that the show’s golden age ended with the episode "The Principal and the Pauper" in 1997, or do you see it differently than that? I do. My favourite would definitely have to be Season 5, as i'm especially a fan of the David Mirkin era of the show and some of my all-time favourite episodes were in that season (e.g "Homer Loves Flanders"). What's your favourite? I don't believe the golden era of the show ended with that episode in particular, however that being said, I would generally consider Season 9 to be the last "great" season of The Simpsons.

I really do not want to use it anymore so can you please delete my account? And I confirm that I am not coming back to use it anymore. I have just decided not to use it anymore. Yeah I definitely want to go ahead with deleting it. Do you mind if I ask why you want to? yes, due to personal reasons.

Season 7 for me, I loved most if not all of its episodes and in my view it had the best Treehouse of Horror (the one where Homer is warped into a CGI dimension).

Heya SharksFan99Bit random, but since you're a history fan like me, I just wondered have you ever stumbled across the NFSA Films YouTube channel when searching for videos of Australia from the past? www.youtube.com/c/NFSAFilms/videos?view=0&sort=p&flow=gridIt has so many archive films of Australia throughout the past 100 years and I've been really enjoying the videos myself and would definitely recommend if you're not familiar with this channel.

Yes I have! I discovered it a few months ago after seeing a news report about an old Bondi Beach archival recording. It's definitely a great channel, I've subscribed to it. There's actually another channel based on Australian history called "ABC News In-depth" which I think you might be interested in. There's a series of videos known as "RetroFocus", and they're based on asking random people on the streets about topics that were relevant at the time. This one is a 1962 interview asking people if husbands should watch the birth of their children:

I’m curious if I’m able 2 delete threads I created. If so, how can I do that? That isn't possible. You can delete the original post in a thread you have created, but it doesn't delete the thread itself.

Do you have any exciting plans for the rest of the year? I did, but being in lockdown for almost two months has kind of put an end to them.

How long will I be on Mod Queue? When will I be able to access the rest of the forum? I think you need a certain number of posts to access some parts of the forum

Is it possible to block someone in this website?
So they don't see your stuff and you don't see theirs?

Is it possible to block someone in this website? So they don't see your stuff and you don't see theirs? If you don't want to read someone's posts, you can add them to your "ignore list", which you can find if you click on the "Edit Profile" button on your profile page. That will "hide" their posts from view when you read threads that they have posted in. However, unless they chose to do the same thing, they would still be able to read your posts. You can't block someone else from reading your posts, but you can block them from messaging you.

Wasn't there a channel just for poll threads? I think it was called "poll place" or "for polls" or just "polls"?
