I miss this era. I still remember when it felt futuristic, but now it looks so old.

It's definitely an era in which I feel as though I missed out on. 2001 is the first year I have memories of, but I was simply too young at the time to have been able to truly experience the year and the Early 2000s in general. I'm sure it was a great time to have been a kid in.

Dare I might say........ Top 3 eras of all time as far as retro atmosphere.

One thing I distinctly recall is being sick and throwing up about the beginning of this month. Somehow I managed to get the flu in late May or early June lol. Best Buy ads June 14, 2001 [/url

Oh, and choice commercial breaks from this month: the never ending Summer of Toonami I unfortunately had to miss out on that, I was there thankfully during the summer of 2000. In 2001 all I had to watch was rabbit ear 6 channels antenna BS, or VHS tapes, or go on dial up internet. The only cable I saw was at my cousin’s house because my aunt and cousins had to watch over me while my parents worked. I didn’t spend a summer on my own until 2003. Real TV, Mad TV and Maximum Exposure is what I watched. (Oh and the Weather Channel at my cousin's because I was petrified of tornadoes for a couple of years)

The early 2000s felt like we were in the future lol. Everything at the time had a futuristic look to it, such as the tech and sometimes the fashion.
