H1N1 basically was COVID-09. I don't mean that it was some type of virus, but it was a global pandemic, albeit handled much better by most countries.

I think if COVID19 hit in 2010, it may have affected me less than now, since I was in middle school from 2009-2011, meaning I wouldnt have been old enough to work even a part time job. The recession did not really affect me as I was only 11 in 2008, but the worst year may have been 2001 with 9/11 as well as its aftermath such as the immediate recession following it along with the war. Of course, I cannot say even 9/11 is worse than COVID19, since no lockdowns occurred, and it was not a virus that killed people globally. The recession just affected people's jobs. Again, it was not a deadly virus that killed a huge amount of people globally in addition to infecting over 3 million people globally.
