I don't even remember the late 2000s other than vague memories from 2009. Low-key jealous of you. The late 2000s is just a poor man's early 2010s or poor man's mid-2000s depending on how you look at it. And I literally mean poor man because the economy was in the pits LOL The Late 2000s were literally the Mid 2000s without the "bling bling" aesthetic and the car-crash pop/reality-TV stars like Paris Hilton and Jessica Simpson. Saying that one era was better than the era is kind of ridiculous given how similar they were, but I don't care, I will always pledge my support for the Late 2000s.

You asking the most 2000s fanboy in existence. Duh. I'll take the late 2000s miles over most recent years.

I enjoyed 2007 and 2008. I was in a catholic elementary school at the time, and I loved talking about shows like iCarly, Chowder, Flapjack, Total Drama Island, and Drake and Josh to my friends. I didn't own any major gaming systems, so all I had was the Game Boy Micro, which was SO small. I was definitely in a cultural disadvantage. I also enjoyed going on YouTube and looking up classic viral videos like "Charlie Bit My Finger". Windows Vista was sometimes laggy, but it wasn't that much of a problem for me.

I certainly miss them in the sense that they are nostalgic times for me and they were actually the peak of my scholar prestations. They were rough times, and even for me I went through growing pains but I can't deny of how many great memories I have of them (especially 2008 now that I think of it). bruh 2009 and 2010 were like the exact same LOL Not at all. Early 2009 and late 2010 are like worlds apart. They aren’t “worlds apart”. They’re barely that different from each other lol. The difference between them is honestly exaggerated.

Sometimes. I generally like the whole decade, but it depends on my mood.

I am a little bit nostalgic for 2006-07 and 2007-08 school years, but I don't want to say I "miss" them because I would never go back to those years voluntarily lol.

I miss the late 2000s for my high school, but I was so entrenched in eurobeat music at the time that the mainstream culture of the time barely left any impact on me whatsoever. My cultural nostalgia for times I lived through is pretty much exclusively confined to the late '90s and early 2000s, with maybe a small amount of 2010/2011 thrown in as well.

I was a preteen during those years, but nah, I dont miss them. Of course, those were the last years of my life before being exposed to an iPhone as well as my final years of elementary school.

I really do miss the Late 2000s if i'm being totally honest. It wasn't the greatest era for someone to have experienced the bulk of their childhood in; I wouldn't even consider it to be the best era of the 2000s in terms of pop culture. However, the Late 2000s did have a lot to offer as years and i'm grateful for the fact that I was 8-10 years old during what was ultimately the last era in which rock was culturally significant, as well as the last period of years in which people weren't so engrossed in their smartphone devices and chatting on social media. Looking back, they were really the "last gasp" of the old age, before we would then fully transition into the digital age with the widespread popularity of smartphones around 2011.
Both 2007 and 2008 especially were great childhood years, they're the two years in which I have the most amount of nostalgia for. I'll never forget the excitement of searching for new songs on Limewire with my Mum and then discovering music which I never would have heard otherwise. Rock felt so cool and edgy to me as an 8-9 year old kid at the time and the fact that emo was at it's peak only added to that. It was stigmatised of course, but it only fueled the perception of rock being a cool genre of music to like. I loved TV shows such as Ned's Declassified, The Grim Adventures of Bill & Mandy, Jimmy Neutron, Spongebob etc. They were a generally decent time for movies as well; I went and saw "The Simpsons Movie", "Speed Racer" and "Transformers" at the cinemas when they were released.
The Late 2000s weren't exactly a kid-centric era, but the teen "edginess" that was in pop culture at the time was apart of the appeal, at least it was for me anyway. They were kind of great for how imperfect they were.

Yes I do because that part of the decade was pretty much the epicenter of my childhood with the mid-2000s leading up to it. Although the recession was apart of it, the main focus here is just person life with 2007 being my overall favorite year of the 2000s.
