People weren't dying in the tens of thousands, but it was only marginally better! I mean, get real. The pop culture that year was trash... Movies were all Disney remakes, especially with the trashy Lion King and Aladdin remake, music was all dark and gloomy, little to no motivation in pop culture, and so much more that makes that year garbage. No facepalm big enough...

I didn't think 2019 was that bad. No terrorist attacks, decent economy, and the global protests at the end of the year that overthrew a lot of dictators.

November and December 2019 were awesome along with January 2019. The remaining nine months sucked for me though.

I had to go on a strict diet and heavy workout to lose a huge amount of weight. By the time November hit, I lost like thirty pounds.

Of course around Thanksgiving, I hit normal BMI, though I gained a few pounds from the Seattle trip I took, and then I lost it all during December, until I went to Vegas, and gained a few more pounds. By the fourth week of January, I was well into the normal BMI. As of today, I am like more than forty pounds below the weight I was during the beginning of October. Many of my friends and acquaintances noticed I lost a lot of weight ever since I went on a rigorous workout and diet in October. Now, with the lockdown, I havent worked out due to the gyms being closed, but I am not as hungry as I was before the lockdown, so that helps me not gain weight along with the fact that I am limited to what I can eat due to this virus.

The appreciation of 2019 definitely seems to be an acquired taste in which only men of culture can understand.

I also lost a similar weight recently (but not in one month) and I'm interested in your method. Care to share? Maybe we need a healthy living thread/board SharksFan99

Maybe we need a healthy living thread/board SharksFan99 We have the existing "Health & Well-being" sub-forum, which is intended to cover all topics relating to people's general health and lifestyle (i.e mental health, exercise, weight loss), however I don't believe we have a topic based on weight loss and dieting. We could always look into creating one if people are interested.
