The appreciation of 2019 definitely seems to be an acquired taste in which only men of culture can understand. It's because it's still a brandnew year and all of the painful memories are still very well remembered. I have no doubt that in a few years when this all fades away there will be an onslaught of nostalgia for 2019. Really the worst part of 2019 is its close proximity to 2020.

2011 : Didn’t feel like anything special happened 2014: Found the conformity of hipster culture and social media culture annoying 2016-2017: Didn’t like the pro trump conservative influence and even a lot of politics in general surrounding that early period 2019: Didn’t feel like anything really interesting happened.

When I started seeing Mcdonalds ads on tv with that hipster foot stomp neckbeard " whoo yah!" music I was like NOPe this shit is contrived. I didn't even like how coffee shops took on that terrible design with hanging light bulbs from the ceiling and off brown color. People were talking about moving to Portland at this time. It was just a Cringe worthy moment in time. HATED HATED HATEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD it

I'm surprised at how little votes 2018 got, especially compared to 2017. IMO I liked both 2017 and 2018 but 2017 was way better.

damn! are u doing ok now? 2019 for me felt different by every quarter it was a weird year, music wise I thought it was boring except for old town road Yes, I was like obese in October, and by the time November hit, I was just a couple pounds overweight. Of course around Thanksgiving, I hit normal BMI, though I gained a few pounds from the Seattle trip I took, and then I lost it all during December, until I went to Vegas, and gained a few more pounds. By the fourth week of January, I was well into the normal BMI. As of today, I am like more than forty pounds below the weight I was during the beginning of October. Many of my friends and acquaintances noticed I lost a lot of weight ever since I went on a rigorous workout and diet in October. Now, with the lockdown, I havent worked out due to the gyms being closed, but I am not as hungry as I was before the lockdown, so that helps me not gain weight along with the fact that I am limited to what I can eat due to this virus. Happy to hear that! I also lost a lot of weight in December to February

2017 wasn't that bad imo. I think 2018 should've gotten more votes.

2019 was just god awful... just because 2020 is worse doesn't mean that 2019 was any good. It was absolutely trash.

I'll still take 2019 over 2020 any day, but I remember disliking 2019 while it was happening, especially with celebrity deaths like Cameron Boyce and Juice WRLD. It really wasn't a good year IMO. Easily my least favorite late 2010's year. It was basically the opposite of 2017 for me because I can remember liking 2017 while it was happening. 2017 is just an underrated year. Everyone keeps saying things went downhill after the summer 2016 ended but I feel like it went downhill in late 2018 lol.

Summer 2016 and Autumn 2016 are the same to me, same with mid and late 2018. 2018 in hindsight was at least a pretty good year for movies. We had Incredibles 2, Black Panther, Isle of Dogs, Hereditary, Infinity War, and Spiderverse. I think what ruined 2018 was probably how Fortnite was spammed constantly. There were a few stinkers like The Happytime Murders, and A Wrinkle In Time and, in my opinion, Ralph Breaks The Internet, but 2018 was solid for movies. It was pretty good for games too, even though Fortnite overshadowed so much of that year.

Well done KP! I also lost a similar weight recently (but not in one month) and I'm interested in your method. Care to share? Maybe we need a healthy living thread/board SharksFan99 We have the existing "Health & Well-being" sub-forum, which is intended to cover all topics relating to people's general health and lifestyle (i.e mental health, exercise, weight loss), however I don't believe we have a topic based on weight loss and dieting. We could always look into creating one if people are interested. That would be a great idea. I can share my secret then.

Same, since November and December 2019 were awesome for me and 2020 is a living hell for me, except for like three weeks worth of time this year. I disliked February-October 2019 due to lots of stress. Almost 40% of 2020 is over, and look where we are right now.
