Yeah. I'll still take 2019 over 2020 any day, but I remember disliking 2019 while it was happening, especially with celebrity deaths like Cameron Boyce and Juice WRLD. It really wasn't a good year IMO. Easily my least favorite late 2010's year. It was basically the opposite of 2017 for me because I can remember liking 2017 while it was happening. 2017 is just an underrated year. Everyone keeps saying things went downhill after the summer 2016 ended but I feel like it went downhill in late 2018 lol. Same, since November and December 2019 were awesome for me and 2020 is a living hell for me, except for like three weeks worth of time this year. I disliked February-October 2019 due to lots of stress. Almost 40% of 2020 is over, and look where we are right now. yeah Nov and Dec 2019 kind of made up for the rest of 2019 I feel the same

We have the existing "Health & Well-being" sub-forum, which is intended to cover all topics relating to people's general health and lifestyle (i.e mental health, exercise, weight loss), however I don't believe we have a topic based on weight loss and dieting. We could always look into creating one if people are interested. That would be a great idea. I can share my secret then. We're all waiting impatiently!

2011 : Didn’t feel like anything special happened 2014: Found the conformity of hipster culture and social media culture annoying 2016-2017: Didn’t like the pro trump conservative influence and even a lot of politics in general surrounding that early period 2019: Didn’t feel like anything really interesting happened. 2014: I didn't like it either, you could tell it was trying to grow itself in the years prior into this faux grunge type of subculture and felt fake. When I started seeing Mcdonalds ads on tv with that hipster foot stomp neckbeard " whoo yah!" music I was like NOPe this shit is contrived. I didn't even like how coffee shops took on that terrible design with hanging light bulbs from the ceiling and off brown color. People were talking about moving to Portland at this time. It was just a Cringe worthy moment in time. HATED HATED HATEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD it Yeah it felt very very artificial. I can’t see anything original about the look. One thing I don’t get about that era and even the latter 2000s is this normalization of thin, and sloppy hair. Grunge hair had more volume and balance. As do many other styles

As do many other styles I just felt bad for the people who thought it was a legit movement. You would see all these FAKE " lets start a movement" Coffee shops and Black Keys playing LMAO Tons of handle bar mustaches filled with people just wanting to fit in. " it's unique different" LMAO u all look the same. Same Dr Robotnick mustache, same suspenders, same long beard. I need to take a shower just thinking about it!

2014 was not my worst year in the 2010s. Only months I hated were March, October, November, and December.

People saying 2016 was the worst are only thinking of November and December. The early part of the year was like 2015, which is beloved here, and the Summer of 2016 was awesome. The vibe changed when October hit and was cemented when Trump was elected.
Also, 2019 the worst? Seriously? That's some recency bias right there.
2017 was the worst, it was that shitty edgy November/December 2016 feeling extended up until September or October when the transition into the Late '10s was over.

Or maybe they’re bitching about all the celebrities that died that year like they should shut the fuck up. 2016 was better than 2017 in every way. The summer of 2017 was booorrriiinnnggg! I was in an abusive relationship in 2019 so 2019 gets the vote for me

2019 was the most boring year of the 2010s. However, it somehow redeemed itself by the end thanks to Mandalorian and upbeat music like Bedroom Pop and Bounce trap.

As a hip hop fan, 2019 wasn't a boring year at all. It had the breakout of many great rappers like DaBaby, Lil Baby, Polo G, Roddy Ricch, Megan Thee Stallion, Pop Smoke (RIP), and even more.

2018 2011 2015
Why those years? 2018 was the peak of my depression, and a lot of it had to do with my Senior year of high school. I just wanted to graduate the whole time, I was getting tired of my shitty home life and school in general. I really slacked about doing most of my work, but tried getting through it the best I could. 2018 was a very painful year.
In 2011 i was forced to stay with my ex step aunt for almost a year all because my dad refused to pay our house rent. It was a really shitty time for me, and her house wasn’t exactly in the best condition. It pretty much ruined 2011 for me.
2015 was just the most boring year. I don’t remember liking the music, pop culture or anything that year and was just much less exiting than 2010-2014. I was also pretty depressed, and the vibes just felt different this year from previous one’s. Hearing “Cheerleader” almost constantly in 2015 was so annoying.

2017. It's just a year I don't want to reminisce or even talk about.
