Despite Y2K culture was dying during this time, the optimism still seemed to linger on That summer was super damn slow like the slowest summer of all time, but it was fun. The economy had crashed a few months prior and stores being slow as hell. My final time @ Camp was this month.

I had just turned 11 a couple months before, so I should be in summer camp right about now.

All we need now is March, September, and December coming sooonnnnnnnn already on it, I wanted to do all of the months of 2001 for the most part to display how it really felt (void of y2k ness) The only thing it can't show unfortunately is the economy crashing and slowing down, NY trains were slow as hell, stores had lack of stock

All we need now is March, September, and December coming sooonnnnnnnn already on it, I wanted to do all of the months of 2001 for the most part to display how it really felt (void of y2k ness) The only thing it can't show unfortunately is the economy crashing and slowing down, NY trains were slow as hell, stores had lack of stock So there will be no Y2K elements in the March 2001 album?  No Spy Kids or no Y2K-sounding songs like Angel or Survivor?

I am trying to remember, there was few and far between as we got to May, maybe a little bit, but the act was getting stale, as I pointed out that Zelek keeps posting music videos that were shot in December 2000 to Jan 2001, some music videos got delayed due to the economy slowing down and 9/11 does not mean is indicative of the culture. For the most part March 2001 was kind of boring, WWF bought WCW which was a shocker they had a simulcast on TNN and TNT of Raw and Nitro at the same time. Prob top 10 wtf moments in tv.

2001 was the first summer I didn’t have cable at both my parents houses. With not that many alternatives back then it was hard.
Nowadays even with just a plain rabbit ear antenna PBS kids is it’s own 24 hour channel. They don’t have To sit through “Sewing with Nancy” during the weekend or have to see this and get disappointed when Zoom or Arthur ends like 2000s kids and before without cable had to. (Thank goodness)
