People like trying on clothes before buying them, and also going shopping with your friends is just fun, so I'm not sure online shopping is ready to completely take over this space. Part of me wonders if there may actually be a backlash against the "everything online" culture after the pandemic. Maybe people will realize that it's better for society as a whole if people leave their homes and interact with each other. Life can't be lived 100% behind a screen. More likely (I hope), people will realize that healthy market competition and brick-and-mortar stores are a good thing, and they may realize the monster they created in Amazon. At least, that's the hope.
