It was when I got exposed to online videos for the first time. It was Yahoo Video I think, because I did not know what Google was until later that year, since my first web browser was the SBC Yahoo Browser. I think for awhile even tho Youtube was popping around this time, Yahoo! Music was still the place to go for music videos online.

Also, not many people even use Bing despite it has only been around for eleven years.

I think this was around the time I got Wi-fi, to go with Mario Kart DS and Animal Crossing. Just a few months before this Wikipedia hit 1 million articles. I remember staying up late to see the counter hit that number. Around a few months earlier was when we first got internet at home, and it was broadband. I mean many people would not waste money to have dialup at home. Talk about paying a lot of money per minute along with how difficult it would have been to set up in addition to not being able to make phone calls as back then people still used landlines to make local lines, and still many people did not have a cell phone. Even then, many people would have gone to the library or an internet cafe to use the internet if they could not afford broadband. I remember Internet Cafes still being popular into 2006, I had to resort to going to places like these when my Internet went down for a day or 2. I remember in 2005 walking like 2 miles just to use the internet because my Modem had broke lol this was like DEAD in the Summer 100 degrees.

I think thats only if you live in Manhattan. A car wouldnt really be necessary in Downtown SF as well. My brother lives there now and he doesnt have a car with him even though he has a license. We let him drive our car when he comes to visit.
