The Timbaland Mega Power era was an era that started in 2006 and ended in 2008, Timbaland a producer pretty much had his foot print on almost every artist on the radio. It kind of changed Pop Music at the time. Lady Gaga has gone on record as saying Nelly Furtado's loose album made her want to make The Fame album more like it and dancey. Timbaland's era came to an end around the time 4 minutes came out 2008. He would have other hits with artists later down the line but NEVER reached the apex of his career during this time period in music. He was EVERYWHERE even in music videos !
Does Popedia miss this era?

Yep, as the music from this era makes me really nostalgic for my childhood. I remember in 2006/7 Timbaland, Nelly Furtado, and Justin Timberlake were everywhere.

Yep. I consider this to be one of the quintessential songs of the era: You are definitely correct though. Looking back when all this music started being released in the second half of 2006 you could tell things were heading toward the elctropop era already, it was quite different to 2004/5!

Timbaland is literally my favorite producer. Mine as well, there is no one like him, they way he uses sounds of house hold items or a baby crying as audio sound FX is genius

The mid-to-late 2000s were definitely his golden age, but the early 2000s were also a great time for Timbaland productions. Let's not forget all these gems thanks to him:
Really, from 2000 to 2009 he was a very consistent producer and that could make golden when he wanted to. It's very unfortunate that he vanished afterwards.
