To be fair though, Sega has mostly been running on the fumes of it's past glory for decades now. The last time they were a legitimate player in the console wars was at least the Dreamcast era and some would even say the Genesis was their last big success.
I really can't see Microsoft "ruining" Sega more than it already has been ruined.

I've also been hearing these rumors. Sega has barley done anything worth while for the past 10 years, so Microsoft acquiring them might be a good thing. But right now I'm keeping my expectations low so that I may be surprised by whatever they're announcing.

Please god no. First Disney ruining Star Wars then this. Yeah no. SEGA ran the Sonic franchise into the ground YEARS ago. You literally cannot kill it deader than it already is.

I don't really care about this. It's been almost 20 years since SEGA has seen any relevance. And it looks to be a Japan exclusivity anyway. Please god no. First Disney ruining Star Wars then this. Uhm, you can't ruin something that was already ruined beyond repair years ago.

I really can't see Microsoft "ruining" Sega more than it already has been ruined. Know this, but you never know what will happen in the future. Atari finished their new VCS system and it can be pre-ordered and intellivision will soon release their new system. I don't want to see Sega be in an even shittier position than it is now, and I would rather them have more control of anything they do if they ever decide to release a dreamcast 2 or any kind of system at some point it, even if it is unlikely, would be better that they aren't owned by Microsoft, I would think.

Yeah I'm not in denial they were ruined beyond repaired years ago, I would rather them have more control if they would ever release a new console or whatever it is, even if it's unlikely to happen currently.
