This summer was more low-key than 2008 or 2010 with all the stores closing and empty streets. A very gritty vibe. I still enjoyed it though.

Most of these pictures lean 2000s but some pictures lean 2010s such as the girl with skinny pants and the other photo with a girl wearing the white hoodie.

In all seriousness though, John Titor, do you have any from the '80s you could do?

I was 10 at the time. One thing that comes to mind when I think back to what I was doing in August 2009 is being excited over the launch of GO! (a TV channel) on the 9th of that month. My friend had been over my house for the whole afternoon and the channel was scheduled to launch at 6.30pm that evening. My friend asked me if I wanted to play Burnout on the PS2 in our entertainment room, but because I was waiting in anticipation for the channel to start, I decided to stay in my bedroom instead and he was left playing Burnout on his own for almost an hour or so. That was pretty slack of me in retrospect. I still can't get over the fact that 2009 is now 11 years ago, it really does feel like yesterday for me.

August 2009 was interesting. We went to NYC, and I got my first cell phone then, which was a flip phone. The Lollipop Dell commercial played a lot during the first week of August.
