Unlikely. Things cannot even start to go back to normal until COVID-19 is no longer a threat. That means there either has to be a vaccine or an effective treatment. We are looking at Q2 2021 at the earliest most likely and if that happens, it will be by far the fastest a vaccine has ever been produced and the first vaccine for a virus of this type. It will be quite a feat. The more pessimistic predictions have us social distancing until 2022.
And then after that, it's a long road to recovery for the economy. Add to that the social uncertainty that seems to be gripping the nation right now. I think things are going to be pretty rough until at least around 2025. The economy won't be 2019 good again until 2030 at least.
Another thing that I'm worried about this year is Trump starting a war with China. I'm also concerned that Trump is going to lose the election but refuse to leave office.

Please.... Q4 includes the election Knowing how Joe Biden could easily win with recent numbers (even Texas isn't so unanimously Republican for the first time in decades), I actually now hope 2020 continues being godawful until November, if "hell on earth" is all it takes for Americans to make smart er decisions.

LMAO.
With the way how the country's going with the unrest, protests, polarization, recession, and an uptick of the pandemic in some states, there is no way we'll get a calm or a lull in this country by then.
I'm not even sure how American schools and colleges/universities will even function with students walking and talking to each other if we're probably gonna experience a higher surge in hospitalizations due to COVID-19.
So, in short, hell, no.

Q3 and Q4 are gonna be some shit. I don't want to know what an October surprise looks like in a year already full of so many twists and turns.
