The color blocking trend is still ongoing so you could add that as well 😉

Chest-stripe shirts (These shirts: cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0214/3344/products/CHEST_STRIPE_TSHIRT_CAPSULE_WHITE_F.jpg?v=1541586470) are trending in fashion again for a second time. In case any of you guys forgot, they were originally popular during the Y2K Era. I started seeing people wear them late last year. Not many people are wearing plaid/flannel shirts anymore (The Hipster trend is fading?). Curtain hair is popular right now. I'm also seeing people wearing Rave clothing (They weren't wearing that last year.). Overalls are also popular right now. The Frosted Tips hairstyle is starting to be popular again. Late 90s/early-2000s skater fashion is kinda starting to make a comeback too (The Late 90s/early-2000s skater fashion comeback might get bigger next year when the Tokyo Olympics finally happen. The reason why I said that is because the IOC recently deemed Skateboarding an Olympic sport and some Skateboarding competitions are slated to take place at the Tokyo Olympics.). The Bowl Cut hairstyle is popular again. As for women's fashion, I am starting to see a lot of women wear clothing that is pink (Late 90s/2000s nostalgia female clothing?). In my opinion, this year's fashion is kinda better than last year's fashion.

Overalls are not popular right now they were like in the mid/early late 2010s. As for pink that is something that started in 2018 but kind of died down a bit in 2019. Most fashion houses are not putting out anything except for a few resort looks like Chanel, which means Fast fashion houses like Zara will not have anything new to copy. The hipster trend has been fading since 2017/2018 and died a death shortly before 2019 began. As for Dior ( i have friends that work with the creative director) don't expect anything new from them soon, maybe a digital look book that is about it.

Tie dye is super in right now. Late 90's athletic/outdoorsy type styles are hot.
And yes, high and exposed socks are officially the cool sock look of choice. And thank god, I have been pushing hard for this since 2018. I love a sleek hidden sock and all, but it's a lot of pressure. And potential blisters. Or sweat.

My sister goes clothes shopping every 12 hours, so I am up to date on the latest trends. Too bad my mom didn't keep any of her late '90s clothes because that's basically what she wears.

I've seen this haircut everywhere with boys, but I dunno what it's called: I can't pull this off since my hairtype is too thick and S-shaped rather than wavy.

I think it's still too early to define what exactly "early 2020s" fashion is, the newest trends may only go on to define 2020 and may evolve into something else in another six months.

I went to the mall with my friend yesterday and I saw a lot of gals that look liked they time traveled from 1999 or 2000.
