My sister goes clothes shopping every 12 hours, so I am up to date on the latest trends. Too bad my mom didn't keep any of her late '90s clothes because that's basically what she wears. I went to the mall with my friend yesterday and I saw a lot of gals that look liked they time traveled from 1999 or 2000. So should we do something about it or will white people dreadlocks happen again?

I've seen this haircut everywhere with boys, but I dunno what it's called: I can't pull this off since my hairtype is too thick and S-shaped rather than wavy. That's the gen Z haircut for you

This is from late 2019, but today's fashion still looks like that anyway. I could tell that by 2022, this is gonna look like such a time capsule LMAO. (For context, I screenshotted this because I wanted to ask if the guys in the front were cute or if I was just imagining that they were.)

Summer is a FLEETING memory for me, but when did wearing long socks with shorts become a thing again? Guy with striped shirt looks like he could be decent but I'm not seeing what you're seeing with the other guys. That's how I dressed in middle school lol.

The consensus on Popedia Discord was that the two guys in the front did pass the ''worth looking closer'' test, but that they gave off untrustworthy frat bro vibes. Truncated screenshot, the first one I took:

Remember that one time you sent a picture and I imagined the guy as Asian and you imagined him as white lol. But I think those guys might actually be kids. Not just the way they dress but also they're a similar height to the women around them. But idk it's Google Street View.

Guy in the front with a backwards cap actually reminds me of my old school crush from 10 years ago. He also dressed like that and his face outline was also like that. (He was your stereotypical troubled Amerasian from a broken family. Actually, my crush on him wasn't that strong, I just wanted something to stare at while I was bored. I actually outgrew this crush real quick when I realized his true personality. If anything, other people were the ones unable to move on from this crush of mine, not me. )

Now even girls are wearing the white Nike tube socks exposed. {Spoiler}I like to think I helped pioneer the return of the exposed sock back in 2018.

Hmm, it's definitely summer in Australia. I probably won't see any of this until May Seems less refined/uptight than the late 2010s but has more personality. I like this direction.

Masks.
People are actually getting quite unique with them after 10 months.

The short sides mullet hairstyle is extremely popular in Australia within my age group (15-25). It probably started in the late 2010s, but seems to be hitting its peak now.
