My sister goes clothes shopping every 12 hours, so I am up to date on the latest trends. Too bad my mom didn't keep any of her late '90s clothes because that's basically what she wears. I went to the mall with my friend yesterday and I saw a lot of gals that look liked they time traveled from 1999 or 2000. A lot of that fashion was there in 1994 to 1998 it just didn’t have that spin that is associated with 1999-2001ish

Oh yes, very yes. In spite of my love for the late/Y2K '90s, I find the fashion quite garish and outlandish, and I can't wait for the '00s revival to begin.

You can already buy bleached jeans with ripped holes, clothing with dragon designs or vintage looking faded spots and funky 2000s shades that scream 2006 at the discount clothing store at the mall. I want 1994-1998 clothing to come back in full genuine form and last for a while. We’ve had more than 10 years of worshipping the late 80s and early 90s.

We’ve had more than 10 years of worshipping the late 80s and early 90s. Indeed. There are very complex and powerful reasons for that, and they relate to the very fact of overwhelming nostalgia in the past 12 years. But yes, I’m ready for the ‘80s and ‘90s to disappear from popular consciousness.

Lots of room to fully embrace the actual mid, late and then Y2K for a while before jumping to the early or core 2000s though.

The 20 year cycle is at work, the early 2000s nostalgia cycle should get into full swing basically as soon as the pandemic is over. Honestly, the pandemic is probably the only reason it hasn't already.

At this point, I think 2020s fashion is starting to flesh it's identity.

What is the fashion that's trending at this point? So far, I think these fashion trends will probably the dominant fashion trends in the early 2020s I think the only people who dress like that are the kids in California or maybe the west side of america, because were i live i just see kids wearing skinny ass jeans. but it might make a comeback here to, idk

Apperently it seems like the y2k era is making a comeback in california or the west side of america, because i live in the east side and i never seen anyone wear those. all i mostly see is skinny jean kids and joggers and hype beast shit.
