As to be expected, Nine has reached the bottom of the barrel with it's newest reality-TV offering, "Family Food Fight". The program is essentially a poorer, less-serious cousin of Seven's "My Kitchen Rules", with the program often relying on stereotypical cliches of the different nationalities to make up it's content. I honestly can't see the format having much longevity.
Verdict: 3/10

I agree with your review. I turned it off within 5 minutes of it because it's just so boring, it probably won't be long until it's axed from Prime-Time and airing it at late night.
My final rating: 2.5/10

I don't know which show sounds worse, this or "The Wall" on Channel Seven!
Needless to say that I didn't bother watching either show, but unfortunately I do expect at least one of them to be a ratings hit!

I know this post is almost a week old now, but it wouldn't surprise me if both shows were cancelled within a year or two. Despite starting off strongly, "The Wall" has dropped quite considerably in the metro ratings! :S

Utter rubbish and it’s getting the ratings it deserves. Is it any wonder FTA TV is dying in this country when the networks produce the same-same shit year after year expecting people to just tune in. Granted, it has worked for many years now but viewers are simply over all these reheated re-served reality offerings these days. There’s so many other alternatives out to get your entertainment too. IMO it’s time all the networks realised this and acted before it's too late.

Apart from better scheduling (and of course, better content), I think the FTA commercial networks really should try to go for "premium products", such as the likes of The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones. I know acquiring the broadcast rights to such shows would be expensive and Foxtel would most likely have first rights, however it makes sense to go for some of the most successful international programs of this decade. It would discourage people from illegally downloading these programs and they would likely be very successful for the FTA networks.

Even high quality Australian dramas like used to be made would be worth watching. Expensive yes but worth it.
Cheap rubbish reality shows airing one after the other is ridiculous and people have finally grown tired of them as is evident in the ratings for most of them. The networks need to think of new ideas moving forward. But, looking at next year’s slate it’s looking like very little will change. 🙄

Social media should serve as the "bridge" that connects the networks with the viewers. Oh well, if the networks continue to treat viewers in such a manner, it's only going to impact them in the long run.
