What were the best, more memorable and notable arcade games and pinball machines of that time to you? Please post pics or videos if possible
They all have to made from 2000 to 2009.
I remember arcades loosing popularity around 2002 or so, even though they were still big. I think the main reason was that arcades were almost or nearly identical to console or pc games at that time whereas, prior there was a major gap and arcade places were not only entertainment or hangout spots, before the Internet, but a way to preview or actually amazing games with advanced graphics that were way ahead of the consoles and pcs.
I noticed arcades becoming more kid focused around 2006 or so as well. Still regardless they still were successful and movie pinballs are still made to this day. Who knows if they will still last into the future.
Share them.

Tbh Arcades died when ps1 and n64 were running the game because u could now play Tekken in your house. I remember in 1997 playing Mortal Kombat 4 and there was about maybe 5 people in the arcade.
DDR kind of gave a shot of adrenaline in 99/2000 for a little bit but that was about it. As for my favorite arcade games during this time ? Tekken Tag Touranament, Dead or Alive 2. Crazi Taxi. There was this arcade on Hampton Beach called Playland that had Tekken Tag it was pretty damn good. This was Summer 2001.

I get what you are saying. Yeah I remember a place called sega city palladium back then even in 97-01ish. There def was some life left in 1997-2000/2001. There was a biy of stark graphics difference still, even if it wasn’t like 1989 or 1995 when arcades were the place to be for every birthday and the coolest thing in the world. Its interesting to see what was popular and hot for whatever was left of the arcades throughout the entire decade. kind of missed out . im guess outside of the list you mention someone will mention dance dance revolution, time crisis and house of the dead series. I think there a pirates of the carribean pinball machine That looked pretty cool from the 2000s

In more dedicated places, like palladium sega city. still wasn’t a hot as like 1998 but I remember they were still going. late 2001-2003 at some point felt like bigger drop and they lost that factor they had before. I remember more common style arcades being pretty packed in 1999-2000. im curious to know more about what people played later on, even though arcades weren’t the same then. there was this really cool South Park and Austin Powers pinball I think from 1999-2001 I can’t remember.

I don't think most arcades got new stuff, the people that would go there in the mid 2000s played whatever was there. I know I went to a mini one in Late 2004 and they had the new Tekken that just came out. I think it was the same stuff that had been there for years.
