There are a lot of Victorian homes in downtown Toronto and a lot of Colonial homes next to where I live and I find the latter to be much more beautiful.

Victorian. Colonial is so overdone unless we're talking the real thing, like a Saltbox. Victorian offers more color and variety in general though and I love the details and the mystery. Except when I was little they used to creep me out.
