2019. It's as dated as the roaring twenties. 2019 is def dated in regard to the corona virus not being apart of life but in retrospect it was just 6 months ago, 2018 was 2 years ago. Dated but not distant.

2009. Despite the ongoing recession at the time, everything in pop culture just seemed really jovial, and it was mainly due to the explosion of electropop and the musical dominance of Lady Gaga and the Black Eyed Peas. Social media was huge, but people still mostly went on their computers to check out media feeds and not on their smartphones. High-definition television became more available to consumers, but I remember the majority of my friends and relatives still owning standard-definition TV sets.

This sounds exactly like the culture of 2010 too. I think 2009 and 2010 were culturally the same. Other than the Obama inauguration, I can't really think of many differences between those two years.

You could almost just call it 2010 2.0. I would either say 2008 or 2012 is the last to be dated. I haven't really decided yet.

Absolutely 2010. Most of the things from that year would seem alien today.
The most recent year to be aging and distant would be 2017.

2010-2011 still has a few things in common with today, as does 2009-2010 but to a lesser extent. I would say 2008-2009 almost entirely. But 2007-2008 is the best choice, it's completely removed from today.

2006 certainly
Music, movies, politics, internet and etc
All the trends that would become popular in the late 00s/early 10s hadn't started yet
Idk, 2006 just seems so hilariously removed from today
