Wanna learn or talk about dinosaurs? If so, then this is the thread for you! I've been studying dinosaurs for more than 20 years. If you've got any dino questions, you can post them here and I'll do my best to answer them for you.

Not so much a question about dinosaurs, but how did you become interested in them?

When I was 6, I got a cassette tape called 'Wee Sing Dinosaurs'. I always enjoyed listening to all the fun catchy songs. I'm in my 30s now and I still remember the words to every song.

I used to be REALLY into dinosaurs and prehistoric animals when I was 13. I even forced my parents to go to any local expo about them lol. My obsession has since died down, but I still enjoy to learn occasionally about them. I do think however that Carboniferous and Permian creatures are even more fascinating than dinosaurs

There's the Iguanodon, because of how important they were historically for the field of paleontology. There's the Allosaurus which I think is really cool since they were basically the apex predator in the days of gigantic longnecks. I also love their strange eye sockets. The Coellophysis because they're fascinating early dinosaurs and just curious little creatures in general. I also loved their portrayal as charmingly annoying little duds in the "Walking With Dinosaurs" series. The Ankylosaurus, I mean look at that armored body and tell me this isn't one of the coolest designs the animal kingdom has ever come up with. The Spinosaurus because it's basically a Dimetrodon (my all-time favorite prehistoric animal) in dinosaur form. And I also love how unique and unexpected they are.

Naturally, I love the Jurassic Park franchise (really looking forward to 'Jurassic World: Dominion' coming out next year if we're not still dealing with this horrible virus). One of my other favourite dino movies is 'Prehysteria!'
