The Illuminerdi has recently got word that Hasbro will reportedly not be continuing their partnership with Toei, including the use of footage from Super Sentai for the Power Rangers television series. This means that according to our sources, Super Sentai will no longer be a factor in production for Power Rangers. Our sources are also telling us that this could mean 2021’s Power Rangers Dino Fury will be last season of the long-running franchise, after their contract with Nickelodeon expires. www.theilluminerdi.com/2020/07/08/hasbro-end-power-rangers/The time of posting this is 2:31 AM

Do kids today still watch Power Rangers? The only reason the show didn't end after "In Space" in 1998 was that it's an extremely low-budget show, getting most of it's content from Super Sentai.
Still, it's kind of sad that it's finally ending, despite the fact that it jumped the shark before the new millennium.

It didn't end after In Space because ratings were so good for that season leading into Lost Galaxy to be the highest rated season behind MMPR. Still sad yeah, the only time it redeemed itself is when Tommy came back full time for Dino Thunder season
